For me, one of the best ways to learn new words is getting out there and using the language. Of course you won’t be able to hold full conversations straight away but when people see you making an effort, I have always found they were very happy and wanted to help me. This was great for learning new words. Just remember the golden rule, don’t be shy, give it to your best shot and learn from your mistakes.
