About Me

Hello! My name is Thitikan or PorGaew. I got Master of Arts in Special Education from Azusa Pacific University and Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Thammasat University. I love teaching because my heart is fulfilled when I see my students’ development. Teaching Thai makes me feel more humble because Thailand is a small country, still there are people who want to learn more about Thai! I respect whoever wants to learn Thai and go to Thailand, I’m more than happy to help and guide them. I’m a part- time Thai Language Teacher at Language Center for the last 3 years. I instruct introductory and intermediate Thai to students of varied levels of ability, focusing on improving listening, speaking and writing proficiency. I prepare lesson plans aligned with company standards, incorporating selected best practices in lesson design and instructional strategies. And I’m also a part-time instructor at California University of Business and Technology for 1 year. I teach psychology and technology-related classes for adult students pursuing a master degree in Education. I support graduate students based on needs, abilities and goals, using various methods to promote collaboration, communication and creativity and enhance the learning experience. I’ve been living in the USA for 10 years. l love spending time with family and friends.
