About Me

My name is Walanphat SettachaimongkoI. I graduated with Bachelor's degree from the University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce. I have been teaching for 5 years. I love teaching Thai language and helping foreigners to communicate with Thai people. Teaching is a good way to promote Thai culture and Thai style as well. My students has said I am a good teacher because I teach them step by step, I speak slowly and repeat many times as needed until they can speak Thai clearly. Moreover, I always add Thai culture and Thai way of life into the lesson as I think language and culture are both just as important for learners to understand. I enjoy teaching my students very much. I understand that each student may have difference purpose of their study in Thai language. Some of them want to do business with Thais while some of them just learn for leisure. I tailor the lesson to match with their needs. I love to have conversations with my students about interesting topics. I am proud that I am Thai. I listen to music, read books, watch news on TV, surfing internet, playing badminton. My favourite food is Thai food, especially Spicy Shrimp Soup which is called Tom Yam Kung in Thai.
