About Me

I love languages. I am learning French for the past decade. I tried Chinese and Spanish in a classroom setting. I am attempting to learn Japanese and Italian on my own at the moment. Back to Thai language. I am a Thai and I have lived in Singapore since 2001. I have been conducting private tuition (basic/intermediate/advance/writing Thai) as well as group lessons (3 – 16 students) since 2007. I structure my lessons according to students’ requirements, hence smaller groups or private tuition tend to be more effective. Most of my students are working adults. I enjoy teaching as I find satisfaction in educating students. I believe learning language requires a push factor:- work or passion. If you need to acquire a new language due to work/business requirement, you would be most likely to work hard for it. On the other hand, if the need to learn language comes from pure passion, you would also be likely to make an effort in learning. I lay the foundation for my students and let them build up their own pyramids. Some faster, some slower, but sooner or later they would get to the top by themselves. I like to explore various methods in helping students to learn more effectively.
