About The Film
แผลเก่า : Plăe~Gào is the story of the author ไม้ เมืองเดิม : Mái Mueang~Deom first published in B.E. 2479 (A.D.1936). It was first made into film in B.E. 2483 (A.D. 1940) and 2489 (1946) and later was reproduced by another director เชิด ทรงศรี : Chéod Songsrĭ in B.E. 2520 (A.D. 1977) which was really successful in Thailand and internationally. The film also won 1st prize in the film festival at the city of Nantes in France in B.E. 2524 (A.D. 1981). The story was created as a TV series and movie several times. The last film was made in B.E. 2557 (A.D. 2014)
